Long time with no updates. My bad on that one.
Been tasked with missions back-to-back pretty much since I stepped foot in Germany.
On one right now actually, but that’s beside the point.
Had the first few chapters for Bards deuce written and done, but the more I re-read Bards the First, the more I think I can do much better.
I get that a lot of people didn’t like the cliffhanger at the end of Roaming Cadenza, and I feel for you.
After reading The Hunger Games, I didn’t realize just how frustrating a cliffhanger can be, and quality control is trés important to me.
All I can say for now is that the wait will be entirely worth it, and promise Bards II won’t leave you with that unsavoury lack of resolution.
The aim, as with any sequel, is that it will be just as satisfying as the first, if not more so.
If I can make a reading suggestion in the mean time, I strongly recommend the Millennium series by Stieg Larsson, a.k.a. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
I thought the American movie sucked (it didn’t do the book any justice), but the books are definitely worth the time.
Also, if you have any kind of nerd in you at all, check out Geek and Sundry.
It’s amazing. Particularly Table Top with Wil Wheaton. It’s pretty much the definition of win.
