You Can’t Be Caught Red-Handed If You’re Not Red-Handed

Wednesday, July 31st (2013) @ 07:00 EDT

Happy end of July!

Dustland Requiem is now available in Kindle, epub, and paperback here.
Check it out, give it to a friend, leave a review. Every little bit helps.
For Eva fans, 3.33 has been out for a while now, and without going into too much, it’s…different.
But Eva is Eva.

On the Steam front, the Steam summer sale brought out some interesting contenders, such as Rogue Legacy (quite possibly the ultimate rogue-like action game), Reus (the poorperson’s/anyone-with-a-job’s Civ 5), and Evoland (RPG education and fun).
There are plenty more great games, of course, but these are ones worth checking out.

Renamed the Emarosa project since I’ve got some bigger plans for it after A Bard’s Folktale is finished.
Nothing will change for the immediate story though.
Which reminds me–new section of Emarosa posted!

Edit: The contact form is having issues at the moment.
If you need to reach me, I can be contacted at aramis(at)glass-waltz(dot)net.

Until Then, I’ll Just Play Pretend

Sunday, March 3rd (2013) @ 11:19 EST

So. Damn. Busy.
First thing–site was down for like a week.
Crazy server issues not even worth explaining.
In short, have an amazing host who was kind enough to straighten out most of the issues for me since I haven’t had the time or resources to do it myself.
I realize that might not sound like much, but if you’ve ever dealt with webhost support before… holy crap.
If you’re in need of an outstanding webhost that’s also surprisingly affordable, check out Srvis.

Next! Swore I would find some way to see the new version of Razia’s Shadow.
Mr. Thomas Dutton was kind enough to direct-link me a stream of the show. (see it here)
He did an amazing job, so please support him by checking out the videos and letting him know what you think.
[note: if you’re familiar with the original Razia, the new one going to confuse all your brain tinglies. Just listen to it a bunch until it makes sense.]

After! I actually met a deadline!
The first chapter/page of the serial short story, Emarosa and the Sea of Dragonfire is up.
Plan to post a page/chapter a month until the conclusion, which I expect will be around Christmas-y time.

Bonus! Bards deuce is finally at the editor’s desk.
Should get it back next week.

Holla.

Squint Your Eyes and Look Closer

Friday, December 7th (2012) @ 06:58 EST

My bad on the no updates.
Been–wait for it–writing! Figured that was more important.
Also family, work, holidays and kept breaking/fixing computers for the new writing lab.
Speaking of! Putting together a new writing lab, which is almost done.
Will post pics when it’s complete (otherwise, of course, it didn’t happen).

Recommendations for your enjoyment–Castle.
It’s a hell of a love story, and has very engaging writing.
Gets slow at times (mid-season filler episodes *cough*), but worth the time.
Plus you get lots of Nathan Fillion with Stana Katic, and more Firefly easter eggs than I can keep track off.

For animé fans (do people still watch animé?) Eva 3.0 was recently released in Japan, and Cowboy Bebop comes out on Blu-ray on the 21st. Can that even be topped?
…yes, yes it can. Razia’s Shadow has a deluxe edition on iTunes, and recently completed it’s first live stage performance last month.
Congrats to Mr. Thomas Dutton–I can only imagine how much time and effort went into that, but I think it’s something the world very much needed.
As a fellow indie writer, I have nothing but the utmost of respect for that whole project, and will find some way to see it.

Dustland Requiem editing is very nearly done, and will be ready for final review by the end of next week.
Given the festive schedules of people-kind for the next few weeks, as soon as I can find a good editor accepting projects, I’ll post a projected release date.

Happy holidays and Steam sales.
