We Were Waiting for Our Lives to Start Their Endings

Updated the nifty quote plug-in this afternoon on account of I had some neat quotes to add (that Marcus Aurelius is a real hoot – honest).
Naturally, all hell broke loose and now it doesn’t work.
Working on it, but this podunk backwoods internet isn’t exactly cooperating, so it might be a while before it’s fixed.

On a different note, saw a picture today that reminded me of my puppy. Excellent moral behind it, but I still miss my puppy.
In any case, for all the bloody colonials out there, wish you a happy Thanksgiving holiday!

Edit: One thing I love about WordPress – it functions on relatively simple plug-ins, with some genuinely awesome authors.
Huge thanks to Sedlex for helping me get his quote plug-in fixed wicked fast.
That would’ve been one looong headache that took more time than I care to mention to fix.

And on a site-note: It’s not Christmas yet… it’s not even Thanksgiving.
Why the hell am I hearing Jingle Bells everywhere I go? … and now I have Lissie stuck in my head.

Two days of straight coding and layout have pretty much paid off.
If there’s any doubt of that, just check this out.

On the other hand, thanks to the bastards that claim they did anything more than shit together Microsoft Internet Explorer, my entire much-needed writing weekend is wasted and gone.
I will burn the source code for that addlepated excuse of a child’s piss-poor science fair project if ever given the chance. Blood feuds sworn.

That aside, all’s well that ends well, and many pretties came out of it.
Now for the ever loving mercy of the eternal spaghetti monster in the sky it’s time for sleep. x_x

As always, been working on some layout stuff and re-working the site.
I think it’s coming together nicely, but I’ll keep tinkering with it until it’s all sorts of incorrigible (word of the day) again.

On to things that actually matter: Been reading and writing and reading some more, but Bard’s 2 is coming along.
Long weekend of drafting ahead, but for anyone who’s a person, found a clip of the movie Up by Pixar
If you haven’t seen it yet, stop whatever unimportant things you’re doing and go see it.
Promise you – you’ll thank me.

Edit: Been breaking this page left and right, and I’m not nearly done. But that sunny thing is happening again, so I think a nap is in order. Will finish fixing it later today.
